Current Programs
Neighborhood Association:
Each member organization belongs to an association of seven chapters. A consultant meets with this group bi-weekly to discuss programming ideas consistent with the Creating Chapters of Excellence philosophy.
Financial Grants:
Grants are available to member organizations to supplement and underwrite educational, cultural, leadership, professional, and service oriented programs and services. Some examples are:
- Reception or mini-workshop at the Johnson Art Museum
- Myers-Briggs personality assessment for officers
- Networking session with alumni in NYC
- Alumni and/or faculty speaker series
- Carnival for Ithaca area children
- Subscription to The New York Times for the chapter
- Scholarship funds for members to take prep classes for GREs, LSATs, etc.
Arts Pass:
Each member organizations receive a pass that offers a 50% discount on all Schwartz Center and Cornell Concert Series programs.
Faculty Fellow Programming:
A staff member works with the chapter to recruit a faculty fellow and develop ideas to promote faculty-student interaction within the chapter.
